Mr. Moezz Mir is an experienced and dynamic banker with a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in Corporate and Investment Banking in East Africa. Mr. Mir is the Chief Executive Officer at a well-established regional Financial Institution.

Moezz has held various leadership roles across the Region for over a decade. He was Managing Director in Tanzania for a Regional Bank where he was instrumental in re-engineering the Institution's business model, and effectively executing its strategy towards growing its balance sheet and optimizing its revenue base. Mr. Mir has led organizational restructuring and culture change initiatives for various Institutions.

Aside from corporate finance, Moezz is passionate about women empowerment and entrepreneurship; and is driven towards inculcating this within the culture of the organizations that he has spearheaded.

Moezz serves on the Governing Council of the Kenya Bankers Association and has previously served as a Member of the Governing Council of Tanzania Bankers Association while working in Tanzania. He is also an active Member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).

Moezz holds a BA (Hons.) Degree in Economics from Kingston University, London; a Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance from the Middlesex University London; and has attended the Global Executive Development Program (GEDP) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, Pretoria.

Mr. Mir has been recognized amongst the Top 25 Most Influential CEOs impacting business in 2023, by the Business Monthly. He was also nominated for the African Banker of The Year Awards 2023 by the African Banker Magazine.
