When should I start saving with KNEST?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Any Kenya Citizen or Person ordinarily Resident in Kenya who has attained the age of 18 years.<\/p>\n

When can I\u00a0 access my benefits?<\/strong>
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

If you are below 45 years, you can access your benefits any time upon attaining 50 years of age and those joining the scheme when they are over 45 years of age can access benefits after having saved for a minimum of 5 years.<\/p>\n

Member\u2019s contributions are automatically split at a ratio of 70:30.
\nEvery time a member contributes, 70% is saved in the long -term savings (pension) account and 30% of the contribution is saved in the short-term savings account. The short-term savings component is designed to cater for any short-term pressing financial needs (emergencies) of the members that may require immediate cash withdrawal.<\/p>\n
